(૧) ઉમેદવાર માધ્યમિક અને/અથવા ઉચ્ચતર માધ્યમિક શિક્ષણ બોર્ડ દ્વારા લેવાતી ઉચ્ચતર માધ્યમિક શાળાંત પ્રમાણપત્ર પરીક્ષા (HSC) પાસ કરેલ હોવો જોઈશે અથવા સરકારે માન્ય કરેલ તેને સમકક્ષ લાયકાત ધરાવતો હોવો જોઈશે; અને
(૨) રાજ્ય અથવા કેન્દ્ર સરકાર અથવા ઔદ્યોગિક તાલીમ સંસ્થાની માન્ય સંસ્થામાંથી ફાયરમેનના છ મહિનાના અભ્યાસક્રમનું પ્રમાણપત્ર ધરાવતો હોવો જોઈશે, રાજ્ય અથવા કેન્દ્ર સરકારની માન્ય સંસ્થામાંથી ફાયરમેનનો અભ્યાસક્રમ અથવા ડ્રાઇવર-કમ-પંપ ઓપરેટર ના અભ્યાસક્રમનું પ્રમાણપત્ર ધરાવતો હોવો જોઈશે;
(૩) ઉમેદવાર Heavy Motor Vehicle નું માન્ય ડ્રાઇવીંગ લાયસન્સ ધરાવતો હોવો જોઇશે;
(૪) ઉમેદવાર ફાયરમેન-કમ-ડ્રાઇવર સંવર્ગ માટે નિયત થયેલ લઘુત્તમ શારીરિક માપદંડ ધરાવતા હોવા જોઇએ.
